Kits Condo?
Long time friends of mine were visiting us in Southern California and could not stop talking about their kids condo. I mean, they went on and on about how beautiful it was and how charming and blah, blah, blah. You would think it was their condo and not their kids. I kept wondering why they could be so totally engrossed in something that wasn’t even theirs. Then I heard the name of the area the condo was in, Kitsilano. I immediately commented that they should name the area Kidsilano in honor of their offspring. My sarcasm was very well received when they explained that it was their Kits condo.
Furnace Installation
It’s just about summer. Now is the time to consider a new furnace installation. You don’t want to go without heat during the winter or fall while the work is being done. As a matter of fact, it would be a great time to get other things refurbished around the house. Ideally, you may be able to take a holiday and get multiple repairs and renovations done while you’re gone. That is, of course, if you have contractors you can totally trust to do the work up to your expectations. When you see the heating bills cut practically in half, you will be particularly pleased with the new efficient furnace.
Victoria Condos
Most of us spend the greater part of our lives holding on to where we were born and the family members that are dear to us. So, why is it that as many of us age, it seems to diminish our roles in the lives of those around us? We elders are sometimes being regarded as inconsequential and often as bad as non-existent. Please don’t think that I feel this is true of all of the older generation. I simply see these attitudes recur over and over again. Close friends of mine who felt this aura of unimportance recently moved from the states to Canada and the Victoria condos there may be my next stop.
